  • Why has my payment failed despite sufficient funds?

    Some common reasons why payments may fail even 
when it appears that sufficient funds are available include:

    • Pending transactions not yet cleared
    • Exceeding daily card transaction limits
    • Funds deposited after the deduction time
    • Insufficient balance after pending deductions
    • Fraud alerts triggered by using the same card across multiple accounts
    • Using a savings account, where your financial institution does not allow for direct debits from these accounts

  • Are you a debt collection agency?

    No. Debit World’s primary role is to assist with billing enquiries and offer support. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter will be referred to an external debt collection agency.

  • Do you have a physical branch?

    No. Debit World operates remotely. We are contactable via phone or email.

  • What type of enquiries do you assist with?

    We assist with any billing or direct debit related enquiries. We can assist with securely updating payment details, investigating why debits have been unsuccessful and organizing payment plans (assessed on a case-by-case analysis, at the complete discretion of Debit World).
